How to play
Everyone sits in a circle of chairs. Give one person a tray and have them walk around the inside of the circle. They choose somebody still seated, who joins them holding hands, and that person then chooses someone else. The chain keeps growing as it walks. At a moment of their choosing, the person at the front drops the tray, and everyone in the chain sprints back to a seat. The last one standing is out. Half the fun is that players at the back of the line often don't notice the tray has gone. Use more than one tray for larger groups, and music fills the silence nicely.
