- Choose a grassed space where a burst melon is not a problem
How to play
Mark out a field with an end zone at each end and divide into two teams. Touch football rules apply: pass backwards only, a touch stops the play and the defending team drops back ten steps, and possession turns over after five touches. Score by placing the melon down in the end zone. Most tries when time is up wins. If the melon breaks, play continues with the largest remaining piece.
